"Let the images do the talking."
I've always loved photography. There is something quite magical about capturing those special moments in time, the emotions or details that I have noticed. And of course there's the moment you get when a client sees their images and the reaction you get.
I specialise in weddings and portraiture of families, children and individuals as I love the atmosphere of these situations, the interactions and myriad opportunities to catch those little fleeting moments that often define someone or maybe a single instant that tells a story all by itself. My style varies between reportage photography where I follow events and be as unobtrusive as possible. Observing and capturing what transpires. Through to using a little guidance for posing if I see a nice shot presenting itself, right through to fully posed studio images.
I love the atmosphere and emotions that each wedding brings from the very small and intimate to the huge events that cover several days. I also like the challenge of recording the ever changing situations during the day, so that the images and the album I produce tell a story.
If I'm not busy with weddings and portraiture. I'm usually just enjoying the chance to explore different compositions and ideas, taking opportunites as they present themselves.
